In France, Egis partners with owners to see through the most complex of investment projects in industries as varied as buildings, urban renewal and development, rail transport, mass transit, roads and airports.
Internationally, Egis' teams use their knowledge of rural environments to provide consulting services and support for local development in African countries which receive financing from the European Union, the World Bank and the French Development Agency. This support is essential to the alignment of initiatives promoting the strengthening of civil society, local communities and rural development.
Egis also performs supportive action to promote private sector development (such as small and medium-sized businesses in Russia) and is present in the area of training adapted to development through the FORHOM Institute based in La Rochelle. The Institute hosted over 330 African managers in 2006. Training sessions were also offered in African countries. For 2007, the FORHOM institute increased its number of training periods and added new topics.
