Egis has acquired more than thirty years of experience in tunnels and underground structures, based on end-to-end supervision and project management experience for more than 65 tunnels, partial missions carried out for 120 tunnels, services provided in approximately thirty countries on all the continents, French or European research development projects and strong collaboration with university thesis projects.
In Europe and worldwide, Egis covers the field of tunnels and underground works (regardless of how they are constructed or what their purpose is) by designing tunnels, galleries, covered trenches or cavities. Its work involves studies as well as construction supervision: project management, equipment, the environment, ventilation, fire, security, geotechnics, civil engineering...
Egis also operates and provides maintenance (operation, monitoring and incident management) for several tunnels in foreign countries - in Belgium and in Austria.
