As every year since four years, Egis has actively participated in this year’s version of the GAD World that took place in Lisbon between November 29th and December 1st. GAD World is considered the premium worldwide event covering airport investments. More than 500 high level industry delegates (airport operators, investors, airlines, regulators, policy makers, project sponsors and financiers) attended the event.
Egis’ contribution to the conference included Middle East & South Asia Aviation Director Jacques Khoriaty moderating a panel on Indian airport market. The session focussed on liberalisation, regulation, greenfield projects and secondary airport sales. The panel included top executives from global infrastructure groups like GMR and GVK, and from Airports Authority of India (AAI).
Jacques has also participated in a panel on the Middle East covering the drivers, ambitions and challenges for the aviation aspirations of Middle Eastern countries. Along with panellists from Oman Airport Management Company (OAMC), Bahrain Airport Company (BAC), Queen Alia Airport (Amman) and IATA, Jacques has detailed the presence of Egis in the Middle East and more precisely the aspirations and major achievements in the region.
