Egis signs an agreement to set up an engineering platform for future Jaitapur EPRs in India

On Saturday 10 March 2018, EDF and NPCIL (Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited) the government-owned Indian energy company, signed an Industrial Way Forward Agreement for the implementation of six EPR reactors at the Jaitapur site in India.
Jaitapur is set to be the biggest nuclear project in the world, with a total power capacity of around 10 GW.

As part of this agreement, Nicolas Jachiet, CEO of Egis, signed a cooperation agreement with EDF, Assystem, Reliance and Bouygues, covering the installation of an engineering platform for studies that fall within the scope of the Jaitapur project.
