Concession and operation

The M6 motorway is a 65 km section of dual carriageway (2x2 lanes) motorway between Dunaujvaros and Szekszard, south of Budapest.

Project overview

The M6 has eight interchanges that connect it to the national public roads, 58 bridges, including six viaducts of 160 to 632 metres. It also includes two service stations at Dunaföldvár and Dunaszentgyörgy, two more complex service stations at Paks and Fácánkert, and a centre of operations and maintenance.

The project includes the design, construction, financing, operation and maintenance of this section of motorway.

Our missions

Egis is the project developer and a shareholder in the concession company.

Egis is also the majority shareholder of the operating and maintenance company M6 Tolna üzemeltető Kft and provider of technical operating assistance.
