In the space of a few years, Egis has become a leading name in construction engineering in the Middle East in fields as wide and varied as transport, water, urban development and aviation, whilst also being a trusted locally-established firm with many offices in the region. Egis has offices in the United Arab Emirates (Dubai Silicon Oasis, Abu Dhabi), Saudi Arabia (Riyadh) and Qatar (Doha).
In July 2015, Projacs, the building project management and works supervision consultancy, joined our Group, thus substantially strengthening our influence all over the region. Founded in 1984, Projacs has built a solid reputation in the Middle East, through a highest level professional offer in project management and supervision of works in the building sector.
Ranking among the Engineering News Record’s top 15 firms in its speciality worldwide (excluding American businesses) and with a turnover of 70 million dollars, Projacs has earned itself a solid reputation in the Middle East. With approximately twenty offices in the MENA region (Middle East, North Africa) and its own training institute, Projacs has particularly effective regional coverage, both in GCC* countries and in neighbouring nations.
The acquisition of 51% of Projacs provides a new springboard for the development of our Group, which now has 1,300 employees in the region. It allows us to extend our scope of action in the Middle East in all sectors with development potential.
