Part of this ambitious development project included the implementation, in 2007, of a new organisation. The new structure unites all the Egis companies under the same banner and new visual identity.
Egis aims to become one of the leading world engineering groups through economical, dynamic and controlled expansion.
The group’s companies now all use the “Egis” name alongside the specific term which designates their business, specialty or geographical zone.
- Scetauroute’s regional branches and major road projects, pavements, studies and works supervision departments have been grouped under Egis Route.
- Sofréavia and Scetauroute’s airport teams have been grouped together under Egis Avia.
- Semaly’s teams and Scetauroute’s railway department are grouped under Egis Rail.
- Egis Aménagement is the result of the merger of 7 French regional companies: ACI, Beterem Infrastructure, Beture Infrastructure, Est Ingénierie, Ouest Infra, Seralp Infrastructure and Sud Ouest Infra.
- Egis Structures & Environnement, which includes Egis Tunnels, Egis Géotechnique, Egis Environnement and Egis Jmi, now comprises Scetauroute’s departments for tunnels, geotechnics and materials, environment and structures, as well as Jean Muller International’s teams.
- Isis has been renamed Egis Mobilité.
- Infraplan has been renamed Egis Conseil.
- Egis Projects, which specialises in projects financing, has kept its name, but its subsidiary Transroute International has been renamed Egis Road Operation.
- Bceom’s international businesses (transport, water and the environment) are now grouped under Egis Bceom International, while its water engineering division in France is now Egis Eau. Bdpa has been renamed Egis Bdpa and is now a direct subsidiary of Egis Bceom International.
- The group’s international subsidiaries, with the exception of Egis Eyser in Spain and Egis Inframad in Madagascar, which have both associated their former names with the Egis name, are now known by the name Egis followed by the name of the country they are located in: Egis India (formerly Bceom India), Egis Romania (formerly Infraconsult), Egis Cameroun (formerly Scet Cameroun), Egis Poland (formerly Nexel). Egis Bulgaria and Egis Algérie have been created.
