• GERICI - Climate change and infrastructure vulnerability

For the past 4 years, Egis and its partners (SANEF, ASF, LCPC, Météo-France) have been working actively on the impact of climate change on infrastructure vulnerability. This research has resulted in a concrete risk management tool which works in simulation and alert mode.

• PROPICE - "Stealthy construction" – Construction management aimed at minimising impact on users and nearby residents.

Reducing congestion and nuisances for users during transportation infrastructure renovation projects is a growing and complex challenge. A consortium of major players which includes world leaders (Bouygues, Colas, Autoroute du Sud de la France, LCPC and CSTB) have worked alongside Egis to tackle this complicated challenge.

• COMMUNIC - Collaborative work using an 3D interactive digital model.

Since 2006, Egis has coordinated a consortium which is made up of several of the world's leading companies in the industry (including Vinci, Bouygues, Eiffage, CSTB, etc.) and is the winner of a call for projects from France's National Research Agency (ANR). The aim of this research project is to develop a virtual 3D concurrent civil engineering model to aid in designing and building infrastructures.

Egis is a member of the European construction platform and participates in the European Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development.

Through the involvement of Egis Mobility, Egis is a partner of the RCI project (Road Charging Interoperability) which aims to set the specifications of the European electronic toll collection in order to implement the interoperability directive.
