A ceremony was held in Shanghai on 5 May 2018 for the signature of an agreement between Egis and SUCDRI, in the presence of Mr Michel Le Faou (Vice president of the Greater Lyon Authority responsible for urban planning).
Founded in Shanghai in 1963, SUCDRI is a global research institute working mainly in the areas of geology, engineering, design and construction. The institute has 13 innovation research centres and more than 100 patents to its name.
Egis and SUCDRI signed a cooperation framework agreement relating to light rail projects.
The agreement provides for the exchange and sharing of information, experience and expertise, the promotion of European best practices and innovation and commercial cooperation on the Chinese light rail market. Egis and SUCDRI will jointly organise and take part in commercial events on the theme of light rail.
This agreement is a first for the Rail market at Egis. It will allow Egis to showcase its expertise in light rail and benefit from new opportunities in China.
