The experts from Egis visited and audited six tramway lines in China (Suzhou, Nanjing, Huai’an, Shenzhen, Zhuhai and Guangzhou), and the engineers from SUCDRI visited many tramway networks in France (Strasbourg, Lyon and Paris).
Moreover, Egis have recently become the partner of Shanghai Sino-Euro Tram Innovation Centre (SETIC) of which SUCDRI are one of the main founders.
During the Sino-Euro Modern Tram Innovation Dialogue organized by SUCDRI in Shanghai in November, Olivier Rivalta, Rail Asia Director at Egis, presented the differences of tramway system design between Europe and China further to the various visits and also the recommendations for the sustainable development of tramway systems in China.
In the next months, Egis and SUCDRI will continue the study on the whole lifecycle safe operation control and management system and asset management for the tramways in China.
A partnership which enables Egis to share our know-how and expertise in tramway.
