As part of Emmanuel Macron's visit to Nairobi on March 13 and 14, Nicolas Jachiet was alongside representatives of Transdev, Stoa, Sogea Satom and Alstom, to present the project for the rehabilitation and extension of the rail link between the city center and Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
This project received the encouragement of the French and Kenyan Presidents, who emphasized its relevance in the fight against global warming and the improvement of mobility in the Kenyan capital.
"This will be the first rail link in modern East Africa, and a great showcase for Kenya and for our partnership," said Emmanuel Macron.
The Kenyan teams from Egis received congratulations from the Embassy and the Elysee for the organization of this visit.
