Singapore: Egis awarded a new contract to support the design of 24km of trackworks running along an elevated structure

China Railway First Group (CRFG) trusted Egis to support the development of the Jurong Region Line (JRL) trackwork design.

The Jurong Region Line (JRL) is Singapore’s seventh MRT line. The line will be elevated with 24 stations, including one at-grade Tengah Depot, one at-grade Peng Kang remote stabling facility and 3 interchange stations with the existing stations at Boon Lay (EWL), Choa Chu Kang (NSL) and Jurong East / NSEWL.

Egis will support the development of JRL trackwork design, tapping into its extensive in-house expertise, available locally.

In Singapore, Egis recently delivered trackform assessment study, re-sleepering study, trackwork detailed design consultancy services. This new exciting assignment demonstrates Egis capacity to address trackwork design projects in line with the demanding Singapore local requirements.
