United Kingdom: Egis successful with Network Rail Design Services Framework


Network Rail has announced the award framework contracts to deliver design services across the country, worth an estimated £400m for Control Period 6 (2019-2024) and up to £640m including the options to extend the framework into Control Period 7 (2024-2029).

Of these contracts, Egis was awarded with the key Signalling Lots - for the North West & Scotland and for the North East. In addition Egis in a consortium with Tony Gee & Partners, has secured a third Lot for Track in the South East.

The new Design Services Framwork (DSF) aims to provide access to a highly skilled suppliers and gives emphasis on Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) inclusion, a view which Egis shares and has integrated SMEs in its supply chain.

On this map, Egis teams will work on these following sections:

  • Routes 2 to 8 fall for the signalling lot
  • Routes 1 and 9 to 12 for the track lot

This significant achievement is a token of Egis’ commitment to the British Rail market and represents another step in the growth strategy of Egis in the UK.
