World Environment Day 2020

Egis #ActForNature

While the calendar remains somewhat upset by the Covid crisis, Egis is more than ever mobilised for World Environment Day on 5 June. An important day to encourage awareness and mobilisation in favour of the planet, because 'to take care of ourselves, we must take care of the planet'! This year the main theme is Biodiversity and we all know the serious consequences of its degradation for us humans (see links between zoonosis and biodiversity loss).

While many solutions exist to Avoid, Reduce or even Compensate for biodiversity loss, let's mobilize ourselves to avoid any other pandemic in our future! In terms of ecological engineering and biodiversity, Egis' multidisciplinary ecological experts are involved in the implementation of innovative solutions to preserve the environment as well as the interests of its stakeholders. Egis is involved in biodiversity both in projects and site restoration operations.

Egis offers:

  • fauna/flora diagnostics and assessments,
  • regulatory files,
  • of ecological engineering project management,
  • environmental assessments and ecological monitoring.
  • a positive biodiversity approach: quantitative and qualitative evaluation of the impact of a development and proposal of a strategy to preserve and increase biodiversity.
  • Tailor-made training courses adapted to your needs on your premises or in our training centre (face-to-face training and/or co-design of e-learning modules).

In addition to its environmental know-how and in the face of the Coronavirus crisis, Egis has structured its offer of disruptive, accessible and rapidly implemented solutions to extend the positive aspects of containment on our health and the planet, making it possible to take part in a more sustainable approach to changing our production methods. Would you like to know more about our solutions or challenge us?
