Helios joins Egis

On 25th January 2013, Egis Avia, the French-owned aviation and navigation company acquired UK consultancy Helios.

 

Many synergies between Helios and Egis Avia

In a joint statement the companies said: “There are many synergies between Helios and Egis Avia, and a history of success and mutual respect in our markets. Egis Avia provides aviation services and products around the world. It operates 12 international airports and provides turnkey solutions to others. Helios delivers award-winning consultancy services to transport businesses, governments and institutions across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa. Together we intend to exploit our synergies to continue to help our customers address the challenges of today and plan better for tomorrow.”

Cédric Barbier, Egis Avia CEO says: “Having Helios on board supports Egis’ desire to be as close as possible to all air transport stakeholders from strategy to operations. Helios will continue to deliver its services from Farnborough and Žilina
