It is one of the Principality's major emblematic and structuring projects, making it possible to improve mobility along an East-West axis, contributing to the attractiveness of the city by improving the quality of life and air, and reducing the number of vehicles.
The 3.2 km long route includes a large number of facilities: cut-and-cover, tunnels, engineering structures, and surface refurbishments. The transport system uses a dedicated lane that requires the implementation of complex solutions in a high-quality urban environment. In particular, the project will make it possible to completely redevelop the Boulevard des Moulins located in the heart of the city, by burying light vehicle traffic below the surface, which has been restored to soft mobility.
The project management contract includes a firm phase (preparatory studies and pre-project design) and 8 optional phases (project studies, drafting of the business consultation dossier, direction of the execution of the work contracts, pre-synthesis and synthesis, scheduling, coordination and management of the construction site, Assistance brought to the client during the acceptance operations). The urban surface developments, excluding the station platform GC, are carried out by the Principality's urban planning services.
Through the Tunnels, Geotechnics, Civil Engineering and Environment activities, Egis reaffirms its position as an engineer capable of offering remarkable integrated solutions for complex projects in urban environments.
