Nicolas Jachiet, the Chairman and CEO of the Egis Group, has announced his retirement and is to leave the Group on 31 October 2020.
For the appointment of his successor, an open selection process was conducted which attracted several high-quality candidatures from inside and outside the Group. At the end of this procedure, the Caisse des Dépôts, the majority shareholder of Egis, decided to recommend the appointment of Laurent Germain, currently the Chief Executive Officer of Segula Technologies, as Egis’ Chief Executive Officer. This appointment will be approved at a future meeting of the Board of Directors and Laurent Germain will join the Group on 2 July.
