To fulfil its objectives of strong growth in the Middle East, Egis has appointed Alaa Abu Siam as Chief Executive Officer of its Middle East Business Unit.
Alaa Abu Siam had been Egis’ Chief Operating Officer in the Middle East for more than a year where he demonstrated his outstanding capabilities in the fields of project implementation and delivery. He took up the position of Chief Executive Officer of the Middle East Business Unit in January.
Alaa Abu Siam has more than 20 years’ experience in engineering, growth management, business transformation and new sales development in fast-growing international environments. He has occupied positions of increasing seniority in the Middle East, Sub-Saharan Africa, the United States and Latin America.
He is graduate of Al-Balqa’ Applied University in Jordan, where he received a degree in engineering technology in 2001, holds an executive accelerated development qualification from Rice University and is a certificated project management professional (PMP®).
