Integra Consult and Egis have been appointed under a new framework contract to support the European Commission in delivering the Single European Sky (SES) performance and charging scheme. The agreement continues a long-standing relationship, following over eight consecutive years of support across environmental performance monitoring, economic and operational performance evaluation.
With the Commission now establishing its own dedicated secretariat to support the Performance Review Board, the new framework focuses on a smooth transition of responsibilities, strengthening in‑house capabilities, and transferring the knowledge, methods and measurement expertise needed for robust performance oversight.
Two consultancy partners will continue their collaborative work under the contract. Egis will deliver expertise and training in environmental performance and cost‑efficiency. Our partners, Integra, will provide complementary expertise and training in safety and operational capacity.
Together, the partners provide an in-depth understanding of the institutional context, the technical and economic complexities of the SES performance and charging scheme.
Mark Scott, Aviation Director, Egis, said: “This new framework is a chance to build on the strong foundations we’ve developed together and to help the PRB Secretariat grow the strength and confidence of its expanding in‑house team. By working collaboratively with Integra and the PRB Secretariat, we can transfer knowledge, deepen understanding and ensure the performance and charging scheme continues to be supported by thorough, independent and well‑documented analysis. We’re very pleased to continue this partnership and contribute to the next phase of the PRB’s evolution.”
Peter Thorsen, CEO Integra said: “We’re delighted to be continuing this association. With strength and depth in all topics across both teams, we are able to supplement each other if required, ensuring the PRB Secretariat receives coherent, impartial and technically rigorous support at all times.”
