On 20 January 2022, the certification company Eurocompliance announced that Egis had obtained ISO 37001 certification across its entire perimeter worldwide, following an audit of the Group’s anti-bribery management system conducted at the end of 2021.
For several years Egis has been actively committed to fighting bribery and corruption through a policy of zero tolerance to all acts of corruption. The bribery and corruption risk is assessed annually through a review led by the Ethics and Compliance department, and conducted with all the Group’s entities. In 2021, our Group decided to go a step further by entering into the ISO 37001 certification process. This globally-acknowledged standard helps organisations introduce the appropriate measures to prevent, detect and address bribery by establishing a culture of honesty, transparency and integrity. Since its publication in 2016, more than 1,000 companies have received certification around the world.
