Egis in Romania wins the supervision and technical assistance contract for the district heating system modernization project in the Municipality of Timișoara – Stage III, Lot 1 (SMIS 330430). It is a strategic project aimed at modernizing urban energy infrastructure and increasing energy efficiency.
The project aims to improve the performance of the centralized heating system, contributing to the reduction of network losses, optimization of energy consumption, and mitigation of environmental impact.
Under this contract, Egis in Romania will ensure the supervision of works execution, monitoring compliance with the schedule and established standards. The company will also continuously verify that the work meets the technical and quality requirements set out in the project documentation.
At the same time, the supervision team will monitor the progress of the work throughout the implementation period and provide technical assistance to the Beneficiary, ensuring specialized support until the completion of the project.
The supervision contract will run throughout the entire implementation period of the works, estimated at approximately 33 months, covering both the design and execution phases of the investment, as well as the completion and handover stage. Subsequently, the services will continue during the 3-year defects liability period, during which system performance will be monitored and any non-conformities will be addressed until the end of the defect notification period.
