Egis and the Faculty of Engineering at Mahidol University, a prestigious research institution in Thailand, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 6 February 2026, reinforcing our commitment to collaboration in research, technology development, and academic knowledge exchange.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Itt Apichartbutr, Deputy Managing Director for Thailand at Egis, and Associate Professor Dr. Thanapat Wanichanon, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University.
This partnership aims to advance Smart Mobility, Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), and sustainable infrastructure development, while also fostering academic activities, talent development, and practical learning opportunities for students.
Following the signing ceremony, representatives from both organisations visited the Smart Mobility Lab to exchange ideas and explore pathways for future joint projects. This collaboration represents a significant step in bridging academia and industry, driving impactful research and innovation that supports sustainable national development.
