Egis has been appointed to deliver technical advisory for the strategic planning of logistics electrification in Indonesia, collaborating with Pusat Studi Transportasi dan Logistik Universitas Gadjah Mada under the Drive Electric Indonesia programme led by ViriyaENB.
This strategic initiative will focus on the electrification of trucks and vans within Indonesia’s logistics sector, particularly along key corridors in Java and Bali. Our team is set to develop an evidence-based roadmap that outlines practical, inclusive, and viable pathways to fleet electrification, aligning with Indonesia’s ambitious Net Zero Emission (NZE) goals for 2060.
As industries strive to meet their NZE commitments, we recognise the significant role of small and medium-sized operators in supply chains, who often face challenges in transitioning to electrification. Our long-term vision is not only to reduce emissions but also to support the growth and resilience of the logistics sector.
This assignment builds on Egis’ long‑standing engagement in Indonesia’s sustainable mobility agenda. It reaffirms our dedication to delivering low‑carbon, resilient, and inclusive transport systems.
