On January 15 and 16, Laurent Germain, CEO of the Egis Group gathered around 30 young Egis managers for the the 2nd Young Executives Seminar. The event was held at the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University in Morocco, close to Egis' African headquarters in Casablanca.
This seminar brought together Egis young leaders from 19 countries, focusing on advancing roadmaps in three key areas: innovation, digital and AI, sustainability, and climate initiatives.
The participants worked together with the researchers and engaged the Campus means ideation, startup studios, relevant architecture and engineering chairs. The topics and outcomes included:
- prioritization of the innovation macro trends, associated problematics, and applications for our Group. In these areas of interest, to define concrete applications: new projects and services, partnerships, business cases, etc.
- review of the existing model to support and boost innovation within the Group (intrapreneurship, networks, platforms, etc.) and the means to deploy sustainability solutions at scale.
This time Morocco was chosen as the venue for the seminar, and this is no surprise, since the African continent will be at the heart of most of the transformation and innovation initiatives in the next decades. Moreover, UM6P has the ambition to accompany these changes by hosting the most powerful super calculator of the continent, an extended research program in Egis’s fields of expertise and ambitious innovation & acceleration programs.
In addition to the learning opportunities, participants had the advantage of interacting with members of the Egis Executive Committee, the Egis Africa team and all the other workshop participants, in order to deepen their knowledge of the Group and benefit from all its expertise.
