E&I Movilidad México, a 50% Group Egis and 50% ICA Joint Venture dedicated to B2C & B2B mobility services, has recently started its interoperable electronic toll services activities in Mexico under the brand Easytrip México.
Easytrip Mexico becomes a new interoperable electronic toll collection (ETC) operator with the mission, at its launch, to manage two main activities developed to target a wide range of customers:
- The management and reconciliation of electronic toll payment transactions made at tollgates with an interoperable electronic toll tag on behalf of highway concessionaires.
- Promoting and distributing interoperable electronic toll collection badges under the Easytrip brand to individuals and companies with vehicle fleets. All highways in Mexico, accept Easytrip tags.
Since the end of March, our Easytrip México teams have officially started managing electronic transactions in ANESA-ICA toll plazas (Naucalpan-Ecatepec interurban highway, 15 km in the north of Mexico City - 14 million transactions per year, including over 4 million electronic tolltag transactions).
For the launch of Easytrip Tags in Mexico, a new website is available: www.easytrip.com.mx. A mobile application, focusing on the customer experience, is downloadable on Apple and Android. Easytrip Tags can also be purchased on Amazon Mexico or in the Easytrip retail store located in Mexico City at a service area on one of the country's main intercity highways.
On the website, customers can create an account, recharge it by credit card or cash in more than 30,000 points of sale in Mexico, order their Tag and manage their budget via their online self-care. This modern and intuitive digital platform will allow Easytrip, in the future, to offer its customers a whole range of payment services in parking lots, gas stations, etc...
