Construction and property consultancy Thomas & Adamson has rebranded as Egis, marking a major milestone following its acquisition by the global consulting, engineering and operating firm in 2024.
Founded in 1935, Thomas & Adamson has earned a strong reputation for delivering project management, cost management, building surveying and construction safety services to clients in the built environment across the UK and beyond. The rebrand reflects the strategic integration of the two businesses since acquisition, bringing together Thomas & Adamson's deep sector expertise with Egis' international resources and capabilities.
The strong team of over 100 employees will continue serving clients from Scotland, London and the Middle East, now with access to Egis' global resources spanning 22,000 people across 70+ countries. This includes specialist building consultancy capabilities in sustainable infrastructure, transport systems, aviation consulting, asset management and digital transformation.
Egis is delivering some of the most significant infrastructure projects in the UK and Ireland. This includes playing a leading role in critical energy infrastructure projects such as Hinkley Point and Sizewell C, significant digital asset management assignments with national clients such as Network Rail and Transport Infrastructure Ireland and delivering a broad range of transportation projects such as the Midlands Metro Alliance and the Old Oak Common railway station. The integration of Thomas & Adamson to the UK and Ireland team adds a strength in the built environment that will support the ongoing growth and success of Egis across the region.
