Climate action needs young voices! Join us in Paris on 15 October at our new headquarters in Paris for the Team up for Climate Awards Ceremony.
Bringing together students, partners, employees and guests, the event will shine a spotlight on four innovative projects selected through the Team up for Climate Challenge, an international competition that empowers students to design local solutions that help communities adapt to climate change.Beyond the awards ceremony, the event offers a unique opportunity to meet the young innovators behind these projects, discover tangible climate solutions already making a difference on the ground, and explore how collective action can help shape a more resilient future.
Why attend?
Climate change is often associated with uncertainty and anxiety, particularly among younger generations. Team up for Climate aims to demonstrate that concrete action is possible.
Since its launch in 2022, the challenge has engaged nearly 1,000 students each year, representing up to 97 nationalities. Supported by mentoring from Egis experts, participating teams develop practical solutions tailored to the specific climate challenges faced by their communities.
During the ceremony, you will discover this year's winning projects and hear directly from the students who are turning ideas into impact.

This year's winning teams have developed practical, locally driven solutions to strengthen climate resilience in their communities.
Kali Guard: a simple bamboo barrier with a powerful impact
Winner of the 2026 Grand Prize and recipient of the Egis Employees' Choice Award, ARKADIA addresses flooding and river pollution in Depok, Indonesia. The project uses bamboo barriers installed in waterways to capture waste before it spreads, helping create cleaner, safer and more resilient rivers for local communities.
🥈 KUWA | Nepal
Protecting water resources through nature-based solutions
In Dhulikhel, Nepal, KUWA is safeguarding vulnerable drinking water sources threatened by increasingly intense rainfall and landslides. The team combines ecological restoration and natural protection measures to secure long-term access to clean water.
🥉 INTISUN | Peru
Solar-powered protection for agriculture
INTISUN supports farming communities in Ñahuinpukio, Peru, by combining greenhouses and solar shelters that help regulate temperatures and protect crops and livestock from frost and extreme weather events.
🏅 ENERGY ISLANDS | South Africa
Community solar microgrids for greater resilience
In Soshanguve, South Africa, ENERGY ISLANDS is improving access to reliable electricity through solar-powered microgrids. The project helps households and small businesses become more resilient to heatwaves and power disruptions while promoting sustainable local energy systems.
Climate action through the lens of photography
In partnership with Photoclimat, the Egis Foundation adds an artistic dimension to Team up for Climate!.
Each year, a photographer travels to document the winning projects and the people behind them, capturing both the realities of climate change and the inspiring solutions developed by young innovators.
A selection of photographs from this year's residency will be exhibited throughout the venue and will offer visitors a powerful visual journey across the communities represented by the winning teams.
