With more than 30 years of experience in Mexico, Egis has become a key player in urban and railway infrastructure engineering and consulting, as well as a benchmark in highway operation and maintenance, currently operating one of the assets with the highest daily traffic in Mexico.

Impacting the future

Egis was established in 2015 in Mexico to execute the supervision contract for the rolling stock and electromechanical systems of the "Guadalajara Light Rail Line 3" project. After seven years of activity, Egis in Mexico has consolidated its industrial footprint in the railway segment, through technical assistance, supervision and engineering activities.

In 2017, Egis acquired a local company specialized in the operation and maintenance of roads and highways. This investment reinforced Egis' commitment to the country and provided the opportunity to increase its presence in the country, with four road concessions and a PPP under the MRO scheme, for the operation of one of the busiest highways in the country (Golfo Centro).
