Challenge.

An unusual project in terms of the number and specific nature of the constraints

Launched in the early 2010’s, ASB programme aims at adapting all Toulon infrastructures to ensure the new generation of Suffren class vessels maintenance. This new class of submersible will gradually replace the Rubis-class SNAs, which entered service in 1983.

A € 3 BN project marked by major challenges: the technical complexity, tight deadlines to ensure the fleet operational availability and the coordination of numerous stakeholders in a highly secure site, including a nuclear facility in operation.

The worksite includes the submarine maintenance docks, the nuclear facility and other support structures.

With a wealth of experience acquired on major nuclear and defence projects, our multidisciplinary team brings its expertise to bear on:

Scheduling Panning and coordination (SPC), including schedule management, on-site coordination, redaction of works phasing documents, creation of worksite installation drawings.
BIM Management, including setting up BIM processes, control and reassembling of 3D models, and creating digital tools.
Digital synthesis to ensure 3D models spatial coordination between all perimeters/ contracts
Management of technical interfaces to ensure alignment in the design of the facility across the various project sub-sections, and to adjust the contractual allotments.
Supervision of the work execution in the factory and on site, including assistance to the Testing Division.
Quality management and assurance, including configuration management.
Project supervision, document surveillance & document management.
