The Hoiana integrated resort is a significant development project located on the Central Vietnamese coast, near the historic city of Hoi An. Originating as a collaborative venture between Suncity, Chow Tai Fook, and VinaCapital Group, this $4 billion project aims to boost tourism while preserving the cultural heritage of the area. The resort spans 945 hectares and includes hotels, residences, golf courses, and commercial spaces. Hoi An, once the largest port in South-East Asia, is renowned for its unique blend of Vietnamese and French colonial architecture, which UNESCO recognizes as a National Cultural Heritage Site. Inhabit became involved in the project due to their expertise in sustainable architecture and design, winning the contract by proposing innovative solutions that align with the project's goals of maintaining the historical integrity of Hoi An while catering to modern tourism demands. Their role includes designing Condotel towers and the Rosewood Development, ensuring these new structures complement the region's rich cultural landscape.
