Our role extended far beyond traditional consulting boundaries. Egis orchestrated design teams, legal advisers, cost estimators, and council officers, leading a collaborative, transparent, and commercially grounded process. We facilitated design convergence across roads, drainage, river frontage, parks, habitat areas, and utility networks, with a delivery methodology that streamlined implementation across landholdings with varied planning triggers and timelines.
This detailed approach, overlain with practical delivery in mind, allowed for the commercial terms to be negotiated with the utmost confidence from all parties. As a result, the Infrastructure Agreements were co-signed by all five private developers and the local authorities, a testament to the commercial outcome that was achieved for all as a result of Egis’s thought leadership and execution.
These agreements established a mutually agreed framework for infrastructure delivery and cost sharing, enabling each development to progress with certainty. The framework developed at Lillywood Landing now serves as a benchmark across the industry for collaborative infrastructure planning, offering a replicable model for other high-growth areas.
This project reflects not only technical excellence but the kind of proactive, solution-driven consultancy practice that aligns perfectly with the values celebrated in the UDIA Consultant Award category.
