Vrac MI facility is an ambitious project designed to deliver multiple technical performance objectives while adapting to the various constraints of the site.
In Cadarache, the retrieval of waste stored within INB No. 56 is a priority project from a nuclear safety perspective. Various waste extraction and removal activities overlap in a confined space, in the presence of radiation.
The Vrac MI facility will be integrated into the existing infrastructure, aligning with the phasing of other projects at the site. Egis’ multidisciplinary expertise enables the project to meet stringent nuclear safety requirements, to address construction challenges from the design stage onward, and to integrate complex, innovative process technologies.
