The company Michel Frustié, a building economics consultancy based in Montpellier, has joined the Egis group. This acquisition was concluded on 30 May 2018 in the presence of Nicolas Jachiet, Chairman and CEO of the Group, who welcomes this opportunity to expand our range of services.
“Egis has for some time been planning to reinforce its Buildings business line in Montpellier which is home to 220 Egis employees from all disciplines. This strategic acquisition is therefore a chance to round out our technical expertise and enhance the scope of our Group by reinforcing our know-how in construction economics in our projects and developing digital models in BIM-5D”, explains Philippe Frey, director of the Buildings France Business Unit at Egis.
Michel Frustié, the director of the company, adds: “Having built up a solid reputation in the south of France, we would like to substantially develop our building economics business. Egis provides us with a great opportunity to fulfil this goal in the Building field and gradually expand into other markets in which the Group is active (Rail, Aviation, Urban Development, etc.).”
Founded in 1996, Cabinet Frustié today has ten employees and provides building economics consultancy services for new-build and/or the renovation of public amenities or private sector investments: housing, offices, administrative buildings, research and development centres, healthcare facilities, care homes, cultural and sports venues, etc.
