Egis wins an EPCM assignment for Institut Gustave Roussy

Gustave Roussy, the leading centre in Europe in the fight against cancer, is to open, between now and 2020, a new complex spanning 10,000 sqm comprising two buildings incorporating a day consultancy centre, a logistics hub and a Wellness Center.

The plans to extend Gustave Roussy aim to step up the fight against cancer by improving the way that patients are accommodated and treated. This is part of a wider-reaching renovation programme in the Campus Grand Parc area.

The day consultancy centre is made up of a day treatment unit with 120 to 140 spaces in oncology and haematology, and a Wellness Center whose goal is to bring together all the programmes and practices that complement the treatment (sport, yoga, sophrology, etc.). This centre will also include informal spaces for discussion and information.

The technical and logistical unit comprises storage facilities (hospitality and medical supplies), the technical workshops and the biomedical department, in addition to the Works Council premises.

This is a Design and Build project conducted with GA Smart Building, TLR architecte and the consultancy Nuel.

In this ambitious project, Egis is conducting the programme management (design consultancy for fluids, roadways and utilities and coordination of fire safety system), while Acoustb is responsible for acoustics.
