The Palestinian Museum Wins the 2019 Aga Khan Award for Architecture

The Aga Khan Award for Architecture Master Jury has announced its selection of the Palestinian Museum as winner of the prestigious architectural award for year 2019. The award, established in 1977, promotes the projects that have positive impact on the environment and surroundings, benefit the society and feature modern architectural design.

In 2019 five projects from various locations have been selected by the Master Jury to share the award and financial support. The shortlist included 20 entities from 16 different countries, making Museum’s wins even more prestigious.

Museum’s distinctive design, location, sustainable construction that led to Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certification, beautiful surrounding gardens – all elements contribute to creation of unforgettable experience for the visitors.

Projacs provided project management services for Palestinian Museum during its design, tendering and construction phase, and LEED rating process.
