My experience at Egis has been incredible and aligns perfectly with my ambition of becoming a successful architect. The company’s commitment to innovation and excellence has encouraged me to challenge myself and think creatively. Through my internship, I gained valuable insights into the engineering industry and developed essential skills such as project management and problem-solving. I’m grateful for the opportunities to engage directly in planning the Kingdom’s cities, which brings me closer to my dream of leaving a mark as a Saudi architect in Vision 2030 projects.
What specific projects or tasks have you been involved in during your time at Egis, and how have they helped you grow professionally?
I’ve worked on three key projects: RCRC (the Royal Commission for Riyadh City), Qiddiya, and The Line project. These projects pushed me to learn new skills in various engineering software, conduct extensive research, deliver presentations, and interact with clients, culminating in impactful designs. The immense effort invested in these projects has been rewarding and has significantly contributed to my professional growth.
How do you see yourself contributing to Saudi Vision 2030, and what steps are you taking to align your work with its objectives?
As an aspiring architect, I am determined to actively contribute to Saudi Vision 2030 by participating in projects that align with its goals. I believe sustainable development and technological advancements are key drivers of progress, and I’m committed to incorporating these principles into my work. Leveraging the skills and knowledge I’ve gained at Egis, I aim to contribute to urban planning and architectural design efforts that support the realization of this visionary plan.
What achievements and milestones did you experience in the last year after completing the intern program?
Over the past year, after completing the internship program, I achieved a significant milestone by obtaining Professional Accreditation from the Saudi Council of Engineers, showcasing my dedication to the field. Additionally, I completed a 25-hour course to become a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), further strengthening my project management skills and commitment to continuous learning.
