On Monday 16 June 2025, Moetai Brotherson, President of French Polynesia; Frédéric Mor, Director for France and Overseas of Egis’ Operations and Maintenance activity; and Kelly Asin-Moux, President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Services and Trades of French Polynesia (CCISM); gathered in Papeete to sign the operating contract for the three airports.
A new partnership between Egis and the CCISM has been set up to demonstrate our commitment to serving the region, as well as the renewed trust placed in the consortium by the Government of French Polynesia.
The consortium has been appointed as the operator under a seven-year public service delegation contract awarded in March. It will begin operations on 1 July 2025. The contract includes a major programme to modernise and expand the three terminals, to significantly improve service quality.
By combining Egis’ airport expertise, which has been present in the region since 2010, with the CCISM’s in-depth knowledge of the local economy, the consortium is further strengthening its local presence. This commitment is reflected in the establishment of a Polynesian management company and forms part of a long-term strategy that is closely aligned with the needs of the archipelago.
