Egis has been participating in major development projects in this region, which covers 15 countries, for over 60 years.

A long-standing presence and in-depth knowledge of the region explain Egis' longevity and reputation in West Africa. With a subsidiary in Nigeria, and offices in Senegal and Côte d'Ivoire, the Group is involved in every sector, notably those of infrastructure, construction and rail. The Group also undertakes projects in airport operation, mining, waste treatment and recycling.

Egis contributes to the establishment of public-private partnerships and works with international civil engineering contractors. It has been supporting local development projects for many years, with implementation of training programmes for local managers and personnel.

Egis is currently participating in major projects such as the urban toll motorway in Dakar, Senegal; the new international airport at Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso; and construction of a third bridge in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire.
