Middle East is a strategically important market for our Group and one of our major geographical poles. In 2018 Egis generated nearly €115 million in the Middle East, accounting for 13% of our total revenue.

In the space of a few years, Egis has become a leading name in construction engineering in the Middle East in fields as wide and varied as transport, water, urban development and aviation, whilst also being a trusted locally-established firm with our numerous offices in the United Arab Emirates (Dubai, Abu Dhabi), Saudi Arabia (Riyadh and Khobar), Qatar (Doha), Manama (Bahrain), Kuwait, Egypt (Cairo), Palestine, Oman (Muscat) and Jordan (Amman).

In July 2015, Projacs, the building project management and works supervision consultancy, joined our Group, thus substantially strengthening our influence all over the region.

The acquisition of Projacs provides a new springboard for the development of our Group, which now has 1,300 employees in the region.  Egis and Projacs pursue the same objectives: develop our activity in the Middle East and mutually enhance our service offers.

With Projacs our Group benefits from greater legitimacy in a large number of sectors thanks to more detailed knowledge of local players and to an enhanced service offering combining engineering and project management meeting the highest international standards.
