Launched on 10 January 2022, our international student innovation challenge 'Team up for climate' brings together universities and colleges from around the world: a grand prize to nurture young talent and stimulate creativity in the face of climate change.

A number of teams from all over the world have already signed up. They will be supported by Egis mentors to develop their ideas and present them to a jury. The prize for the winning proposal, is a prestigious award, as well as a range of incentives to reward their participation.

The award ceremony of the 2022 event will take place at Unesco in Paris in partnership with the University of the Earth. The terms of participation are online on the challenge platform!

What we'll look for.

Creative thinking.

We’re interested in new solutions to tackle the climate emergency or mitigate its effects. The ideas don’t need to be technically advanced, but they do need to present an innovative approach or methodology.

Measurable impact.

We’re looking for pitches and proposals that are workable, practical to implement and that we can easily measure the potential success of.

Community impact.

We’re keen to see ideas that tackle the social and community aspects of climate change, along with those that help improve the health and well-being of people and communities.
