Call for projects

Call For Project Site Web 2023
The Egis Foundation invites NGOs and non-profit organisations to submit their ideas and projects for its annual international call for projects on tackling climate change.

The Egis Foundation is looking to support the development and implementation of projects through a partnership approach with the project stakeholders. To this end, the Foundation will make every effort to mobilise, in addition to the financial endowment, Egis' internal resources to monitor and support the projects.

We are therefore looking for partners willing to make a long-term commitment with the Egis Foundation in the implementation of high-impact actions. For 2023, an action in France is being prepared, which is why the call for projects will only be open to projects carried out internationally (outside France).

In 2023, 2 to 3 projects will be declared winners for a grant of between €40,000 and €80,000 per project. The financial support will be divided into 2 or 3 instalments over the duration of the project for a support period of between 2 and 3 years.

What we'll look for.

1. Impact on climate change.

The funded projects must contribute to act on the causes of climate change: reduction of GHG emissions sources or adaptation of populations and territories to climate change.

2. A systemic approach.

Our vision of climate change is a systemic approach that seeks to meet further objectives connected with the population' living environment (biodiversity, support for local employment, professional training).

3. For vulnerable populations.

We give special attention to vulnerable populations (women, children, etc.) or in situations of precariousness and strive to help them remain players of their own destiny while respecting their dignity.
